Description

That mid-stride pounce, front paws planted, tail up, grinning like she just heard the word "walk"? Every collie owner knows that exact pose. This piece captures it in soft brushstrokes of dusty blue and warm taupe, the kind of collie wall art that feels alive without being loud.

Her coat is a mix of brown, grey-blue, and white, painted with loose, textured strokes that give her movement even standing still. Underneath, "The Lord is my shepherd" sits in flowing script, with Psalm 23:1 quietly anchoring it below. The cream background keeps the whole thing calm and uncluttered.

It's scripture verse home decor that doesn't feel like it's shouting at you, just a steady reminder tucked into a room you actually spend time in. Hang it in the living room above a console table, in a reading nook, or near your bed as a quiet morning gesture. It reads as considered dog lover gift material, not novelty decor, so it holds its own next to real art.

If you've got a border collie of your own, or you just love the breed's particular brand of chaos and devotion, this one gets it right. It's the kind of Christian dog lover gift that works for a birthday, a sympathy gift, or just because someone's dog deserves a spot on the wall.

Three ways to put it on the wall

The art is the same in every option. What changes is the frame around it, and whether glass sits in front.

Framed print: solid oak, glass or plexiglass

The easiest route: it arrives in solid oak, with a clear cover over the art.

  • Solid oak frame
  • Frame colors: natural oak, white, black or walnut
  • Cover: real glass or shatter-resistant plexiglass
  • Five sizes, from 8 x 12 to 24 x 36 in

Framed canvas: depth from a floating frame

Visible texture and a little depth, with a small gap around the edges and no glass in front.

  • Floating frame for a clean, gallery-style finish
  • Frame colors: natural wood, black or walnut
  • Open front, no glass
  • Five sizes, from 8 x 12 to 24 x 36 in

Unframed print: paper only

Already have frames, or want to pick your own? Start here, on high-quality matte paper.

Questions parents ask me

How do I choose the right size?

Start with what the art will hang over.

8 x 12 in: a shelf, a nightstand or a small wall. Also good in a group.
12 x 18 in: a mid-size piece that works alone or in a row of two or three.
16 x 24 in: a good fit above a crib or a dresser.
20 x 30 and 24 x 36 in: one big piece for a feature wall or a wide stretch above furniture.

Still unsure? Cut paper to the size, tape it to the wall and leave it up for a day.

Do the prints come framed?

That depends on the finish you pick. A framed print comes in a solid oak frame with a plexiglass or real-glass cover. A framed canvas sits in a floating frame with an open front and no glass. An unframed print is the paper alone.

If you already have a frame you love, the unframed print is the way.

How do I arrange a gallery wall?

Every print in your gallery is the same size, so the layout is the easy part. For two or three prints, hang them in a row with 2-3 inches between frames. For four or six, use two rows.

In a nursery, center the whole group at about 48 inches from the floor. That's where your eyes land from the glider, and you're the one looking. In a big kid's room, bring the center down toward 40 inches, their standing eye level. If a crib or dresser sits underneath and the bottom frame would land too close to it, raise the group just enough to keep a clear gap.

Will this still look good when my child is older?

That's the whole idea. Every print in this store was chosen to grow with your child. No cartoon characters that expire at age three. No trends that date by next season. This is art that works in the nursery, survives the toddler years, and still looks right when your kid starts having opinions about their own room.

What if the colors look different in person?

Every screen shows color a little differently, so a print can look a touch warmer or cooler than it did on your phone. If you're particular about an exact shade (and I respect that), ask for a free color match before you order. I'll send a proof for your approval before anything is printed. No surprises.

How long does shipping take?

Every piece is made to order and ships in 2-7 business days. Custom orders add 1-2 business days for the proof step. Once it ships, delivery takes 2-4 business days, and a tracking email arrives as soon as it leaves. U.S. orders over $100 ship free; under $100, it's a flat $6.95.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from delivery to start a return, and that includes custom orders. If something arrives damaged, defective or wrong, we send a replacement at no cost; just include a photo when you contact us. If you changed your mind or picked the wrong size or design, you cover the return shipping. Full details are on our Shipping and Returns page.
