Description

Some verses you hang in a nursery and outgrow by kindergarten. This isn't one of them. This 23 wall art piece is designed to stay put through baby announcements, teenage moodiness, and every phase in between, because the words don't age.

The script is loose and handwritten, in a soft taupe-brown that reads more like ink than decor. It sits on a warm, barely-there beige background, quiet enough to disappear into a wall until someone actually stops to read it. No florals, no borders, just the psalm given room to breathe.

This is the print you put somewhere you'll actually see it daily, not just in the kids' rooms. A reading nook, above a headboard in the master bedroom, or on that living room wall that's been asking for something with substance. It works because it doesn't try to match your decor so much as sit comfortably inside it.

Minimalist Christian home decor should feel like this: settled, unhurried, sure of itself. The Lord Is My Shepherd deserves better than clip art and gold foil. This is scripture treated like the good writing it is.

Three ways to put it on the wall

The art is the same in every option. What changes is the frame around it, and whether glass sits in front.

Framed print: solid oak, glass or plexiglass

The easiest route: it arrives in solid oak, with a clear cover over the art.

  • Solid oak frame
  • Frame colors: natural oak, white, black or walnut
  • Cover: real glass or shatter-resistant plexiglass

Framed canvas: depth from a floating frame

Visible texture and a little depth, with a small gap around the edges and no glass in front.

  • Floating frame for a clean, gallery-style finish
  • Frame colors: natural wood, black or walnut
  • Open front, no glass

Unframed print: paper only

Already have frames, or want to pick your own? Start here, on high-quality matte paper.

Questions parents ask me

How do I choose the right size?

Start with what the art will hang over.

8 x 12 in: a shelf, a nightstand or a small wall. Also good in a group.
12 x 18 in: a mid-size piece that works alone or in a row of two or three.
16 x 24 in: a good fit above a crib or a dresser.
20 x 30 and 24 x 36 in: one big piece for a feature wall or a wide stretch above furniture.

Still unsure? Cut paper to the size, tape it to the wall and leave it up for a day.

Do the prints come framed?

That depends on the finish you pick. A framed print comes in a solid oak frame with a plexiglass or real-glass cover. A framed canvas sits in a floating frame with an open front and no glass. An unframed print is the paper alone.

If you already have a frame you love, the unframed print is the way.

How do I arrange a gallery wall?

Every print in your gallery is the same size, so the layout is the easy part. For two or three prints, hang them in a row with 2-3 inches between frames. For four or six, use two rows.

In a nursery, center the whole group at about 48 inches from the floor. That's where your eyes land from the glider, and you're the one looking. In a big kid's room, bring the center down toward 40 inches, their standing eye level. If a crib or dresser sits underneath and the bottom frame would land too close to it, raise the group just enough to keep a clear gap.

Will this still look good when my child is older?

That's the whole idea. Every print in this store was chosen to grow with your child. No cartoon characters that expire at age three. No trends that date by next season. This is art that works in the nursery, survives the toddler years, and still looks right when your kid starts having opinions about their own room.

What if the colors look different in person?

Every screen shows color a little differently, so a print can look a touch warmer or cooler than it did on your phone. If you're particular about an exact shade (and I respect that), ask for a free color match before you order. I'll send a proof for your approval before anything is printed. No surprises.

How long does shipping take?

Every piece is made to order and ships in 2-7 business days. Custom orders add 1-2 business days for the proof step. Once it ships, delivery takes 2-4 business days, and a tracking email arrives as soon as it leaves. U.S. orders over $100 ship free; under $100, it's a flat $6.95.

What is your return policy?

If something arrives damaged, defective or wrong, we send a replacement at no cost; just include a photo when you contact us. If you changed your mind or picked the wrong size or design, you cover the return shipping. Full details are on our Shipping and Returns page.
