You've seen this room before. It was on Pinterest at 11pm. It had the pale crib and the calm walls, and the art made the whole thing feel finished.
It also linked to exactly nothing. You zoomed in on the dresser like a detective. Still nothing.
This is that room, except everything in it is real. It's a gender neutral woodland nursery I designed as a complete room concept for Teepee Joy: I chose every piece the way I would for a client, built the room around one set of wall art, and wrote down where everything comes from.

Why this gender neutral woodland nursery works
The trick, if you can call it that, is restraint. The art is a whisper-pale birch grove, so I kept the room in that register: white and pale-birch furniture, cream textiles, one quiet striped rug.
The warm caramel moments, a squirrel-red mobile, a taupe hedgehog lamp, a clay-brown crib sheet, are pulled straight from the animals in the prints. Nothing competes with the art, and that's why the room reads calm instead of empty.
One more choice I was strict about: metal barely exists here. The glider swivels on a matte black base, and that's about it. When a palette is this soft, one dark note grounds it. Three would be a drum kit.
The woodland wall art the room is built around
This is Birch Grove Animals, a set of four prints in soft watercolor tones: two fawns in the birches, a red squirrel guarding an acorn, a barn owl on a mossy branch, and a bear cub checking a tree hollow for snacks.
It's naturalist-illustration style rather than cartoon woodland, which is why it can anchor a nursery this quiet. I hung the four as a two-by-two grid above the crib and let them run the palette.
